As we begin to experience the warmer weather that Spring has to offer, I wanted to share with you one of my favorite winter coats from & Other Stories. The Oversized Alpaca Blend Coat in Beige was the perfect coat to keep me warm during the colder days while staying stylish. Long coats with belts are my weakness because they look classy and pair so well with everything. After wearing this alpaca blend coat for several months, I felt compelled to write this review so I can share my thoughts with you. Let’s get started and I hope you enjoy!

& Other Stories Oversized Alpaca Blend Coat Review
The & Other Stories alpaca blend coat has an oversized and relaxed fit with a defined waistline. The oversized fit is perfect for colder days because you can easily wear 1-3 long sleeves underneath for extra warmth. Since it runs slightly big, I opted to go down a size and got a 0, which was perfect! For reference, I am 5’4 and weigh approximately 130 pounds.
As a petite woman, I was very pleased to find that the sleeves were not excessively long; however, the length of the coat was a bit too long for my small frame. To solve this problem, I went to Nordstroms and had the tailor shorten the coat a few inches so it would hit right below my knee. If you’re 5’6 or taller, then the length should be ideal. If you’re a petite lady like me, then take into consideration the length of this coat before purchasing or get it altered like me!
This coat is stunning, well made and worth every dollar. Seriously. Since it is an alpaca blend coat, it’s extremely soft to the touch and doesn’t shed or pill. The color is a beautiful shade of beige and pairs beautifully with white, black and blue jeans. The inside of the coat is fully lined, which adds extra warmth while ensuring durability for many years to come. It keeps its shape very well, even after being folded. and does not wrinkle. In my opinion, the alpaca blend coat offers moderate warmth and is great for Fall, Winter and Spring.
The tailored collar and the tortoise color buttons add a very nice polished look, while the arms drape down effortlessly without any excessive material. Depending on your preference, the alpaca coat can be worn open or tied up with the belt. Wearing the coat open allows for a more effortless and casual look, whereas tying the belt creates a feminine hourglass figure that is flattering on all body types.
Last but not least, the oversized alpaca coat has two spacious pockets and is ideal for carrying large items or keeping your hands warm.
If you’ve been on the hunt for a winter coat, then I highly recommend this gorgeous coat, which also happens to come in the color black. It certainly exceeded all my expectations and I’m sure it will exceed yours as well.
